A painted portrait of Ed Nastali, wearing a full American Indian headdress and holding a double scotch, rocks, welcomes you to this eclectic happening loosely themed on vanishing frontiers, pioneers, wagon wheels, Chisolm Trail rides, and romance. While all of the rooms are idiosyncratic tours of Ruby's psyche, this one is perhaps the best peek into the inner Montana. You'll find the very best western wagon wheel furniture, a palomino theme (look at those antique photo shade lamps!!!) and saddle stirrup lamps beside the bed.

The palomino heads over the bed were owned by Gene Autry himself and once hanging in Mr. Autry's Palm Springs hotel. The kitchen boasts an extensive collection of western salt and peppers… all collectors items now. The painting of a lonesome cowpoke tending his herd is a limited edition print by the famous western artist Till Gooden. Gooden designed some of the diner ware you'll find in the kitchen, too, …fabulous signed pieces all very wonderful. This room comes closest to a museum of any of the motels seven rooms.

This is a very laid back relaxing room ideal at the end of the trail.

There's even a guitar if you want to sing goodnight to your horse.
